Casting On; Knitting Project,Seriously Chunky

Well, with all the cold weather, January has been the time to cast on the knitting needles and make some new designs!
I am busy working on my Nautically Inspired Collection For Spring/Summer.
But just for fun and to keep you snug and warm here's a simple to make, but "seriously chunky" scarf. Great project for beginners as it only uses garter stitch and knits up quickly to0.
I've made this one for myself, in time to wear to a family wedding at the weekend, it's sure to keep me warm.
Scarf Knitting Instructions
Scarf measures approx width 25cms x length 180cms
you will need;
6 x 100g Cygnet Seriously Chunky yarn ( photo in the snow-Magenta)
one pair 8mm knitting needles
How to Make
Cast on 22 stitches
First row: knit to end
Next row: knit to end (these two rows produce a garter stitch pattern)
Continue knitting in garter stitch,
joining in the new balls of yarn when needed until all yarn has been used.
